Fire Under the Bay Street Bridge

Firefighters were called to the Bay Street Bridge at 1657hrs on May 27, 2007 for the report of a brush fire underneath the east side of the bridge. Crews arrived to find thick black smoke rising from underneath, and went straight in on arrival. Fire crews were on scene at this incident for just under an hour, there were no reported injuries and minimal damage to some wiring under the bridge.
